Agape Day Camp is coming to CIC June 22-26 for grades rising 1st through rising 8th in the 2026-2027 school year!

●      What is Agapé Day Camp?

o   Agapé Day Camp is run through the summer programming at Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries, an outdoor ministry of the NC Synod. The counselors travel to us to lead the campers in songs, games, Bible Studies, nature activities, crafts, and both Biblically- based as well as silly skits. They bring outdoor ministries to us!

o   The Middle School program is an opportunity for youth to grow and give back to the community. Agape provides team building exercises and challenges while the congregation arranges at least three service-learning opportunities (TBD and likely off-site) throughout the week. 

●      When is Agapé Day Camp?

o   Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June 26th

o   9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Mon-Thurs) and 9 a.m. to Noon (Fri) at Community in Christ

o   There is an optional, but very fun, program on Thursday evening (the 25th) where the kids have a chance to show off what they have learned throughout the week and you get to meet the counselors!

●      Who attends Agapé Day Camp?

o   Children entering grades 1 to 8 in the 2026-2027 school year.

o   Maximum capacity for the camp is 32 campers!

●      How do I register?

o   Complete the Google Form: Registration & Health Form 

o   Turn in the Registration Fee

•       A check written out to Community in Christ with “Agape Day Camp” in the memo line.

•       Online under the “Agape Day Camp” selection in the “Donate Now” option at

www.communityinchrist.org

▪        Amount

•       1 child - $100 for the week

•       2 children from same household - $190 for the week

•       3 children from same household - $275 for the week

•       *The cost of Agape Day Camp is subsidized by CIC’s Annual Golf Outing!

o   Submission of the Google Form and the payment completes registration.
